I purchased my first Burda pattern. It was a beautiful pattern, but there was one flaw to me. The pattern fabric layout was not on the guide sheet. At first, I thought it was a defect in the pattern and returned it to the store. The clerk told me the layout was on the pattern itself. I bought extra fabric to cover the required amount to be sure. The lesson I learned and my request for your patterns, please print the layout guide on the instruction sheet like the other pattern companies. I have been sewing for 40 and more years…. I do expect the layout on the instruction sheet to make for happier sewing experience. Thanks.

Would you happen to know where the ANN and/or GAP button companies were located or any other info not currently posted on the web? I am doing research on these two companies and can not find where they were located or exactly what years they operated.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
There buttons are so interesting.

As I understand it, it is a second edition and has additional listings and new photos. I’d say that it updates and expands. Reviews that I’ve read have been glowing.

My father was Jim Spadea’s cousin on his mother’s side.
I am putting together a family history and would be interested in hearing from his heirs. Any information regarding Jim or his brothers Joe or George will be appreciated. I did an interview with Jim in 1986, for an oral history of Brockton , Massachusetts his home town. As I remember the interview took place at the Thorny Lee country Club in Brockton.
